We are almost in business. This morning I went to see a guy who does t shirt printing in Los Angeles and showed him the design that my sister in law made for our logo. She ripped off some other company, but changed it around enough so that it is not possible to tell it was once some other thing. All of the colors are different and obviously it has a stylized representation of the company name. We needed about twenty five shirts, but I got a lot more. We can give them away. Of course it is going to be part of the uniform. You will have to wear khaki pants and the t shirt with the company logo on it and you will have to be reasonably well groomed. That is important, because dealing with the public effectively is the key to this whole thing working as well as it needs to work. All of the people here have to be personable and they have to be able to answer the customer’s questions.
At any rate I had to deal with the contractors being difficult this morning. I think they want me to pay them before they finish the work, but I want them to finish the job first. This guy is not really making me want to trust him to tell you the truth and I am thinking that it is best that I make sure he does what he said he would do before I give him any money. It seems as though he might well get up and disappear if he had the money. I do not know what it is about him, but it is easy to think that he wants to take advantage of me for whatever reason. I will feel better when the doors are open.
